How to Use ScratchJr

  1. Download the App

    • Tap the character icon to add or create characters.

    • Kids can draw, choose, or import characters.

  4. Use Coding Blocks

    • Drag and snap blocks together to make your character:

      • Move → move in different directions

      • Jump → make the character hop

      • Say → add speech or dialogue

      • Repeat → create loops for repeated actions

  5. Test Your Project

    • Press the “Play” button to see your story or game in action.

    • Adjust the blocks to fix mistakes or add new actions.

  6. Save and Share

    • Save your project and show it to friends, family, or classmates.
